Description: Coldplay adopted Interceptor 005, Neon Moon 1, is operational in Malaysia. The key updates in the 3rd gen Interceptors are: - 1.6x wider conveyor belt (2.5m); the expanded width allows for a less obstructive flow and better distribution to the dumpsters. - Wider barge and dumpsters; making the transfer from conveyor to dumpster easier and more effective. - Improved monocrystalline solar cell panels and a smart energy storage system, which is smaller but still meets the 100% solar energy demand required to operate the Interceptor. - Updated catamaran structure; designed to facilitate containerization and swift deployment globally. --- Coldplay is well renowned for their music and philanthropic endeavors, so we are excited that they have chosen to take part in our mission to rid the oceans of plastic through the sponsorship of an Interceptor.
